CBS News: Live Breaking News App Reviews

This is, for the most part, an attractive and nicely designed app. I would enjoy it about 100% more if they got rid of the highly annoying, complete-screen popover ads that appear about every ten seconds and found a less obtrusive way to display those ads.

Its a pretty good app for CBS News. Its just CBS doesnt always have the best news. Too many clips. I want the whole show. NBC offers the whole Nightly News & I watch that. The next day Hulu carries all the ABC news. Try watching the local news live stream CBS needs a little work which is too bad because CBS is the channel all my origrams are in.

When Im at work, not a chance to miss the latest. Awesome app.

Good app to get all the quality news when you want it.

I regularly use NBC app. Having said that, it seems that the polling data on CBS has been more accurate from time to time. Also, it is nice to have another news source available.

CBS loads much faster and has less ads than CNN. I also like the format better.

As a cord-cutter this app is a dream come true. I missed having a 24 hour news channel, and none of the other services seemed to offer anything comparable to cable news. I love this service and appreciate having a legitimate news service available online.

The red "breaking news" bar cursors up when you scroll down for more news and seems to take up more space on the screen. The red "breaking news" bar NEVER goes away! CBS is making the decision about what breaking news is. Seriously, folks, I dont think that an interview with Kathy Bates is breaking news. Please give us back our old app.

I have the CBS News app on my iPhone and on my Amazon Fire TV. CBS News is always Johnny-On-The-Spot with the latest news. I hear things first on CBSN and Tweet it or Facebook it to my followers. The CBS News app is my go to place for whats happenin each day.

Good news site, easy to navigate. The ability to stream live is a big plus!

I dont always get home in the evening in time to see the news so I can check out what is going on with this app. Its nice that I can catch up on daily events any time.

If you are trying to cut the cord, this app provides an opportunity to time shift to some programming. I appreciate that.

Its a great start. The information is actually timely. Informative. They could use more content. But compared to AP & Reuters apps, its updated more frequently with relevant information. Love the videos.

Great reading but not a great source of "breaking news".

This is a great app. Unlike CNN, CBS reports real news rather gossip or, whats trending.

This is a wonderful on demand video and article news source.

I love this app and watch is every morning. Saves a lot not having a cable bill! Plus I can watch it anywhere. They repeat some of their stories too much. And I wish they had more world news instead of pop culture.

I paid for the service and used it. It worked great then when I tried to sign in again it wouldnt except my sign in information. Ask for a reset of password but never received the email. Tried four more times but nothing. I just lost ten dollars. Be careful about paying for this service.
